This privacy notice distinguishes between the Debother website at debother.com and the Debother product TableUnfuck at tableunfuck.com. This notice applies to both expressly named offerings. Additional products must be added separately before they are published.

Website behavior

Hosting

The Debother website is delivered via Railway. When the website is accessed, the Railway Privacy Policy states that device and IP data as well as usage and request metadata in particular may be processed. Processing exclusively in Europe is not claimed.

The processing of technical connection and usage data serves the secure, stable, and technically reliable operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data is stored only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or while statutory retention obligations apply. The respective provider's requirements additionally apply to provider-side retention periods.

2. TableUnfuck / tableunfuck.com

Application behavior

Hosting via GitHub Pages

tableunfuck.com is delivered as a static website via GitHub Pages. GitHub states in its Pages documentation that a visitor's IP address is logged and stored for security purposes when the site is accessed. According to the GitHub General Privacy Statement , GitHub may process personal data in several locations, including the United States and other countries. TableUnfuck does not transmit table contents to GitHub.

For certain transfers, GitHub describes, among other mechanisms, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. This information is relied upon only insofar as it applies to the respective processing activity. No specific retention period is claimed.

Email contact

Anyone who writes to botherme@debother.com transmits the message content they choose through the email services involved. The website contains no contact form.

Google Workspace is used to send and receive email. The sender address, message content, technically necessary metadata, and voluntarily provided information may be processed. Processing serves to handle and respond to inquiries and, where necessary, to provide documentation required by law or for operational purposes. The legal basis is generally Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR may apply to contract-related inquiries. Data is retained only for as long as necessary to handle the inquiry, while statutory obligations apply, or while legal claims must be established, exercised, or defended. Google refers to a global infrastructure; processing exclusively in Europe is not assured.

Rights and the option to lodge a complaint

Subject to the statutory requirements, data subjects have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR, where applicable), and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). Consent that has been given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR). Requests may be sent to botherme@debother.com. Statutory retention obligations or other permissible grounds may prevent immediate erasure.

Right to lodge a complaint

Under Art. 77 GDPR, there is a right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority. For the operator based in Hesse, the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information is, in particular, competent:
